Kora Silk cottons with ikkat weaving (tie and dye) is being weaved in Chinnalapati, a district of Dindigul in South Tamil Nadu.
These sarees are weaved on a double warp frame loom. Alternating warp yarns of Silk and cotton are passed through the heddle in the frame loom and the spindle of the shuttle is wound with cotton yarns which becomes the weft.

Light Pista green with Arraku ( dark red) border Kora silk cotton with ikkat weaves on the body and pallu along with half fine zari.
Comes with contrast running blouse.
Weaver name - SanthiAlmost all saree’s tend to bleed colors initially, so before washing your saree’s with mild detergents, it is always good to soak them in normal water with rock salt for some time.
Remember saree’s are delicate so no matter what the stain is please do not use brush to scrub or soak / wash in hot water.
Use mild soap or shampoo to wash the saree. Do not soak the saree in any kind of detergent, do not use bleach and do not wash it in washing machine, unless mentioned specifically.Do not wring the water out of the saree. Hang it to dry in shade and not under direct sunlight.
Use medium heat iron. It is better to use a clean cotton cloth on top of the saree while ironing.
