Where Art meets tradition. A treasure to cherish with your heart, this Fusion handmade jewellery is a work of art ...

A kulo shaped pendant made of terracota and designed along with lava beads, terracota beads, matte glass beads and howlite.

Now a little story about the design idea of the necklace.

Kulo aka Moram aka Winnowing basket used to hold an important role in our daily lives. I remember my granny using them to remove dirt, stones from Rice, Wheat, Ragi, Coriander seeds while I was growing up.. We all would have seen it to atleast once. Slowly it faded away in the cities as we started embracing modern machinery. But it's still used daily in remote villages and by Women who still practice the age old method of living their lives and not to succumb to the modernization. Also in some cultures especially North Eastern India, it's decorated and worshipped during the Laxmi pujo or Navratri days, as it represents prosperity and abundance.

Celebrate the festive season with this traditional design infused with art.
