Kolam, is a decorative art drawn on the floor in many parts of southern India. Kolam is drawn to ward of evil spirits and invite the good spirits, Goddesses, especially Lakshmi in to our homes. Kolam, a sign of auspiciousness.The pendant is strung on cotton thread with handmade cotton thread beads, yellow resin beads, traditional Kerala Palakka beads in brass and on a green adjustable dhori.

You can give a long life to your costume jewelry by keeping them away from - Water, harsh chemicals like powder, perfume, lotions etc.
Air, tends to tarnish the metals. So secure the jewelry well inside a ziplock bag with the air squeezed out.
Please maintain seperate boxes for storing the jewelry and please do not hang the jewelry as it creates tension and the strings loosen up creating space between the beads.
Please air the jewelry before placing inside the ziplock bag or wipe the sweat off before placing it inside the covers.
